History: BCMC has a special relationship with Bethel College. In 1897, 10 years after the college was started, a number of faculty and staff decided to form a congregation. For 60 years the group met in the Administration Building chapel on campus. In 1945 the members voted to build a new house of worship. The cornerstone was laid in 1953, the building dedication was on December 2, 1956, and in 1997 we celebrated our 100 years in praising God in worship, word and music.
