Description: Chicago Community Mennonite Church is an urban Anabaptist congregation with a strong tradition of concern for peace and justice. We believe deeply in the Christian practices of love, peace, justice, mercy, forgiveness, community, and we welcome all. We worship at 9 a.m. Sunday mornings at First Church of the Brethren on Chicago's West Side. We can be reached easily via the CTA Blue Line (Forest Park branch, Kedzie/Homan stop) and the Eisenhower (I-290) Expressway.

History: Chicago Community Mennonite Church began in 1979 as a church plant in Oak Park. After worshiping in a retirement center and a local YMCA, the church settled in at a United Methodist Church in Oak Park for 17 years. The congregation moved to the current location in Chicago in 1997.
