Description: Community Mennonite Fellowship is a gathering of believers from many backgrounds that have been drawn together by their faith in Christ. Committed to being a gathering defined by the love of God evident in Jesus our Savior, we seek to live, work, relate, and relax in ways that are life affirming on all levels. This is a radical discipleship that calls us to be a reflection of Christ with our whole being. This life of redemption is living the compassion and respect Jesus called his followers to be in a broken and suffering world. "We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother." -1 John 4:19-21

History: Each believer as a follower of Jesus by definition has a calling. Just as in the human body, there are no spectators in the body of Christ. Every person has a role, a task, a responsibility, a talent, a purpose that they alone can fullfill. One of our more developed ministries is the Caring Place. We are the primary support for a clothing shop that provides new and lightly used clothing to the people of our community. This store front ministry is the Caring Place Clothing Shop at 209 W 2nd St, Rock Falls, IL 61071.
