History: NSM began as a fellowship group in 1983 of several families who wished to bring a Mennonite/Anabaptist presence to northern suburbs of Chicago. We have grown to a congregation of 75 adults and children, some of whom are from a Mennonite background but many of whom are from other backgrounds. The tone of church life is informal with emphasis on honest and caring relationships and mutual support in building strong families.
