History:   Philippi Mennonite Church began in 1982 with a small group of ethnic Mennonites who lived in the area. It welcomes persons interested in alternative-style worship based upon community of faith participation. We have hosted Latin American refugees, promote community outreach, encourage responisible stewardship of the world's resources and have hosted a Service Adventure Unit since its inception in 1989.
